(WO) — Expro has completed its acquisition of Enhanced Drilling, adding managed pressure drilling (MPD) and riserless mud recovery (RMR) technologies to strengthen its offshore well construction portfolio.
The acquisition expands Expro’s capabilities across the well lifecycle, positioning the company to support increasingly complex offshore drilling projects through improved wellbore pressure management, enhanced drilling efficiency and reduced nonproductive time.
Enhanced Drilling has deployed its proprietary MPD and RMR technologies in offshore basins including the North Sea, Gulf of America, West Africa, the Caspian and Asia Pacific. The company’s technologies are designed to improve pressure control in challenging drilling environments, simplify well designs and enhance overall well construction performance.
By integrating these capabilities with its global operations, Expro said it aims to help operators address increasingly complex offshore drilling challenges while improving operational integrity, project execution and long-term production performance.
Integration activities are underway, with Expro stating that service continuity for existing customers will be maintained throughout the transition.
