(WO) — Intermoor, Acteon’s moorings and anchors business line, has been awarded a three-year contract by Petrobras to provide inspection, maintenance and operational readiness services for offshore mooring and subsea equipment supporting the operator’s assets in Brazil.
The award marks Intermoor’s third Petrobras contract in less than a year, further expanding the companies’ long-standing relationship in Brazil’s offshore sector.
Under the contract, Intermoor will inspect, maintain, repair and preserve critical mooring and anchoring equipment, including chains, steel wire ropes, anchors, connectors and other load-handling components used across Petrobras’ offshore infrastructure. The work is intended to support asset integrity and operational readiness throughout the maintenance cycle.
As part of the agreement, Intermoor will dedicate a 20,000-sq-m facility at Açu Port for the storage, maintenance and management of Petrobras’ mooring materials, providing traceability and logistics support for equipment undergoing inspection and refurbishment.

Intermoor said the contract strengthens its position across the full offshore mooring lifecycle, from installation support to inspection, maintenance and asset integrity services. The company added that continued investment in its Açu Port base will help improve equipment readiness and support future offshore installation programs in Brazil.
