New name, same bank — plus a higher rate for some savers.
Formerly known as CCBank, Accordia Bank has rebranded and is celebrating with a limited-time “Rebrand Boost” on its high-yield savings account. Through Jan. 31, 2027, Utah residents can earn a combined 5.00% APY, which is made up of a 4.00% variable base rate and a 1.00% boost. That’s an especially attractive rate at a time when savings yields have been trending lower following the Fed’s rate cuts.
And if you live outside Utah, there’s still a reason to take a look: The account earns a competitive 4.00% APY without the boost.
Here’s how the account works, who qualifies for the bonus rate and how Accord stacks up against other top savings options.

Rates and fees
Accordia Bank High-Yield Savings offers the following rate structure, at the time of writing this article:
- Utah residents: 5.00% APY (4.00% variable base + 1.00% Rebrand Boost, through Jan. 31, 2027)
- Non-Utah residents: 4.00% APY (variable)
The Rebrand Boost applies to balances up to and including $500,000; any amount above that earns the standard 4.00% rate. You only need a $100 minimum deposit to open the Accordia high-yield savings account, and you don’t need a minimum balance afterward to keep earning interest. There are no monthly maintenance fees.

High-yield savings account alternatives
Accordia’s rate is competitive, especially for Utah residents who qualify for the full 5.00% APY. Still, if you’re looking to get more from your account, it’s worth exploring other options that may offer even greater value.
SoFi’s Checking and Savings combines savings with a no-fee checking account, making it a convenient alternative to Accordia if you want to manage your everyday spending and savings in one place. It also offers a cash bonus for qualifying customers. The tradeoff is that you’ll need a qualifying direct deposit to earn SoFi’s top rate.
- Earn a cash welcome bonus just for setting up direct deposit, giving you a head start on your savings goals.
- Unlock a competitive APY on your savings with direct deposit, so your money works harder without any extra effort.
- No minimum balance or monthly fees means you keep more of what you earn, regardless of your account balance.
- Get your paycheck deposited up to 2 days early with direct deposit, so you’re never waiting on funds you’ve already earned.
- Roundups automatically save your spare change with every purchase, and Vaults let you organize savings toward specific goals.
- Comes with a checking account, ATM access and no foreign transaction fees
- FDIC insured up to $3 million through the SoFi Insured Deposit Program,* offering far more protection than the standard $250,000 limit.
- Savings APY drops significantly without direct deposit, so you’ll earn less if you don’t use it as your primary bank.
- Out-of-network ATM fees aren’t reimbursed, which could add up if you frequently use cash.
- No physical branches, so customer support is entirely online or by phone.
EverBank’s Performance Savings rounds things out with a competitive APY and no minimum deposit, making it an easier option if you’d rather not commit the $100 upfront like Accordia requires.
