(WO) — The Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC) has appointed three new members to its Advisory Board, adding executives with experience spanning oilfield services, workforce strategy, equipment and energy capital markets.
Bob McGowan of Allison Transmission, Kirk Ginn of Atlas Energy Solutions and Ryan Tull of Piper Sandler were appointed during EWTC’s third-quarter Board of Directors meeting. Each will serve a three-year term advising the board on industry issues and the association’s strategic direction.
McGowan is managing director of North America National Accounts/Transit Growth at Allison Transmission. His responsibilities expanded in August to include the company’s North America off-highway business, covering customer relationships and market development across energy, mining, construction and other heavy-duty sectors.
Ginn serves as chief administrative officer of Atlas Energy Solutions and previously led the company’s human resources and EHS functions. He has more than 17 years of oil and gas experience, including roles with Baker Hughes, TETRA Technologies and Calfrac Well Services across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.
Tull is managing director and head of Energy, Power & Infrastructure Capital Markets Origination and Public M&A at Piper Sandler. He has 30 years of energy industry experience, including 20 years in investment banking, and previously led oilfield services and oilfield infrastructure at J.P. Morgan. During his career, Tull has participated in more than $50 billion of debt financing and approximately $40 billion of M&A transactions.
“Ryan, Kirk and Bob each bring a different perspective on the forces shaping the energy services sector, from capital markets and business strategy to workforce and the equipment that keeps our industry moving,” said EWTC President Molly Determan.
EWTC’s Advisory Board comprises senior executives who provide guidance on market conditions, emerging trends and priorities affecting the energy services and technology sector.
