Delta and American Express have introduced new limited-time welcome bonuses for the top Delta SkyMiles credit cards. These bonuses are interesting because they offer more than just bonus miles; you can also earn flight certificates and statement credits.
The biggest of these bonuses is for 200,000 miles, which is an incredible deal for a co-branded airline card. We cover the details of these offers and note which ones stand out from the rest.

Are these offers worthwhile?
The Delta Reserve and Delta Reserve Business have the biggest and most unique offers. The Reserve Business card’s 200,000-mile bonus is the most miles I’ve ever seen offered with a Delta card. And the consumer Reserve card’s two flight certificates could easily propel its bonus value well past anything you’d get with the other options.
But they both have fairly high $650 annual fees (see Delta Reserve rates and fees; see Delta Business Reserve rates and fees). That means it’s a good idea to carefully review the cards’ benefits to ensure you don’t end up with loads of perks you don’t need (there are a lot of benefits to review, such as credits for rideshares, Delta Stays bookings and Resy restaurants). Plus, you’ll get a companion certificate every year after your card renewal, 15% off when booking Award Travel with miles on Delta flights, airport lounge access (Delta Sky Clubs and Amex Centurion lounges) and more.
Unless you’re deeply committed to Delta and frequently fly with it, the lower-cost Delta Gold and Delta Business Gold card offers make the most sense. You’re getting a valuable welcome offer and a $0 annual fee for the first year, then $150 (see Delta Gold rates and fees; see Delta Gold Business rates and fees).
Although the Delta Gold cards cost less, you’re still getting a suite of valuable perks. You’ll have access to the 15% discount on Delta awards, two free checked bags on domestic Delta flights (one free checked bag on international Delta flights) and credits for Delta Stays bookings and rideshares.
