(WO) — Weatherford International has completed its acquisition of NCS Multistage Holdings, expanding its well completions, reservoir diagnostics and well performance capabilities.
The acquisition adds NCS Multistage’s completions and reservoir diagnostics technologies to Weatherford’s existing portfolio spanning well construction, completions, production optimization and intervention. The combination also expands Weatherford’s capabilities in the North American market.
“NCS Multistage adds complementary technology, deep completions and reservoir expertise, and a talented team that strengthens our ability to address a broader range of customer challenges across the well lifecycle,” said Girish Saligram, Weatherford president and CEO.
With the transaction completed, NCS Multistage common stock has ceased trading and will no longer be listed on Nasdaq.
