(WO) — Saipem has won a $350 million offshore contract from Azule Energy for subsea work on the Agogo Integrated West Hub Development offshore Angola.
The contract covers the West Hub Tails project, part of the broader Agogo development approximately 180 km offshore Angola in water depths reaching 1,750 meters. Azule Energy is an incorporated joint venture between Eni and bp.
Saipem’s scope includes engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation of subsea infrastructure, including approximately 62 km of flowlines, risers and umbilicals. The infrastructure will be tied back to the Agogo floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit.
The contract is expected to run for approximately two and a half years.
Fabrication will be carried out at Saipem’s Ambriz yard in Angola, with local companies and workers participating in the project.
Saipem will deploy its FDS and Normand Maximus construction vessels for the offshore installation campaign.
