Raymond Limited share price hit a fresh 52-week high during Tuesday’s intraday trading session, following a massive 200% rally over the last six months. The recent uptick has come after the company’s aerospace arm secured fresh multi-programme orders from an Indian aerospace and defence major.
The recent order worth ₹33 crore includes machining, aerospace castings, structural components and complex assemblies. The production is likely to commence progressively across 2026 and 2027, as per the company’s recent BSE filing.
Why is Raymond share price rising today?
“Aerospace and Defence is the swing factor, growing 40 percent to Rs. 123 crore against a ten-year order book of over Rs. 5,960 crore. The fresh multi-programme win covering 300-plus part numbers adds only about Rs. 33 crore annually but confirms domestic defence traction. Rs. 129 crore net cash funds the Rs. 1,000 crore capex, though after the sharp re-rating execution must now do the heavy lifting,” explained Nitant Darekar Research Analyst at Bonanza
Raymond order win
Raymond Limited’s aerospace subsidiary secured an order worth ₹33 crore which includes production and supply of more than 300 part numbers (precision-machined, casting and structural) across multiple aircraft applications, with annual volumes exceeding 37,000+ companies.
The recent contract is likely to help the firm in boosting its participation across a wider portion of the aerospace value chain, stated the flagship company of the Raymond Group in its BSE filing.
“The outlook for Raymond Limited is positive with respect to the post-demerger business structure, which allows investors to get a better understanding of its growth potential in the domain of engineering and aerospace. Given that there was considerable interest from the part of the investors recently, it means that the market has begun to see value in these businesses,”Siddharth Maurya, Founder & Managing Director, Vibhavangal Anukulakara Pvt. Ltd.
