(WO) — SLB has been awarded four integrated well construction contracts by Aramco covering more than 450 oil and gas wells across Saudi Arabia.
The contracts each have a three-year term, with options to extend for up to two additional years. SLB will manage end-to-end well construction services across multiple operating environments in the Kingdom.
The awards expand the use of SLB’s integrated well construction model, which combines well planning and execution with digital drilling workflows, automated drilling, evaluation, drilling fluids, cementing and completions technologies.
“Delivering hundreds of wells across a multi-year program and in multiple operating environments requires an integrated model that connects planning, execution, and digital workflows to set new industry performance benchmarks,” said Steve Gassen, executive vice president of Geographies for SLB.
The contracts represent an expansion of SLB’s integrated well construction business in Saudi Arabia and build on the company’s long-standing relationship with Aramco.
Financial terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
