(WO) — TWMA has secured a new contract with an undisclosed North Sea operator to provide offshore drilling waste management services for a multi-well campaign in the UK North Sea.
Awarded under an existing agreement, the contract will include deployment of TWMA’s RotoMill technology and associated equipment. Operations are expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Under the contract, TWMA expects to process approximately 2,000 metric tons of drill cuttings per well. The company’s RotoMill system treats drilling waste offshore at the source rather than transporting untreated cuttings to shore for processing.
TWMA said the approach can reduce vessel movements and associated emissions by up to 50% compared with onshore processing. The project will be supported by the company’s Aberdeen-based team.
“We’ve been working in the North Sea for more than two decades and securing new work like this is a strong endorsement of our UK business and our team in Aberdeen,” said John Robertson, TWMA UK general manager. “It reflects the confidence operators continue to place in our technology, our people and our ability to deliver safely and efficiently in challenging offshore environments.”
The award expands TWMA’s portfolio of drilling waste management work on the UK Continental Shelf, where the company has operated for more than 20 years.
“The UK Continental Shelf remains an important strategic market for TWMA where we have been delivering drilling waste management solutions for more than two decades,” said Halle Aslaksen, CEO of TWMA.
TWMA did not disclose the operator or specific wells covered by the contract.
