(WO) — Subsea7 has secured a subsea installation contract from LLOG Exploration Company, a Harbour Energy subsidiary, for the Who Dat East development in the U.S. Gulf.
Subsea7 classifies the contract as “sizeable,” representing a value between $50 million and $150 million. Who Dat East is located in Mississippi Canyon lease MC 509-1 in approximately 1,300 m of water.
The contract covers fabrication, transportation and installation of a 29-km steel catenary riser and pipe-in-pipe system connecting to the Who Dat floating production system. Subsea7 will also install an umbilical and subsea controls.
Project management and engineering will begin immediately from Subsea7’s Houston office, with offshore installation activities scheduled to begin in 2028.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting LLOG’s ongoing success across the region,” said Craig Broussard, senior vice president for Subsea7 U.S.
