(WO) — Baker Hughes has secured a major order from Dynamis Power Solutions to supply 76 NovaLT™16 industrial gas turbines for mobile power generation units supporting data centers and oil and gas applications across North America.

The order, totaling approximately 1.3 GW of generating capacity, includes NovaLT16 gas turbines packaged with generators, gearboxes and control systems. Baker Hughes said the gas turbines were booked during the second quarter, while the associated generators and gearboxes were booked in the third quarter.
Dynamis will integrate the turbines into its DT17 hypermobile power platform, which is designed to provide rapidly deployable, natural gas-fired power for industries requiring reliable electricity in locations where permanent grid infrastructure is unavailable or constrained.
The companies said demand for flexible power generation continues to grow as electricity requirements increase across both the oil and gas sector and the expanding data center market.

According to Dynamis, the DT17 platform combines Baker Hughes’ multi-fuel NovaLT16 gas turbines with proprietary mobile packaging designed to reduce deployment times while providing high power density and operational flexibility. The systems are intended to support a range of applications, including upstream oil and gas operations, where reliable onsite power is critical.
The order builds on the companies’ long-standing relationship and reflects growing investment in distributed natural gas-powered generation to support industrial operations and large-scale energy infrastructure.
