What is this Venture X Business offer worth?
You can redeem Capital One miles for 1 cent each toward travel booked through Capital One Business Travel or when used to offset eligible travel purchases. That makes the 300,000 bonus miles worth at least $3,000 in travel. When you add in the $1,000 travel credit and the card’s annual $300 Capital One Business Travel Credit, you can book up to $4,300 in travel with the full welcome bonus.
You may be able to squeeze additional value from the 300,000 bonus miles. Capital One miles transfer to a long list of airline and hotel partners, including the following:

The Venture X Business card has a $395 annual fee, which is lower than the annual fees of other premium cards. It’s also easy to justify this cost with two simple benefits. As noted above, you’ll receive an annual $300 Capital One Business Travel credit, plus 10,000 bonus miles each card anniversary, which are worth $100 in travel for many types of redemptions.
If you take full advantage of those two perks each year, all the card’s other benefits are additional value. That includes the travel insurance, shopping protections and airport lounge access you have access to.

Does the Venture X Business card offer make sense for you?
As lucrative as the Venture X Business card’s new welcome offer is, it’s not an accessible bonus for many business owners; the spending requirement is simply too high.
The good news is there are plenty of other business credit cards with valuable intro offers, lower annual fees and more manageable spending requirements. The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (see rates and fees) and Capital One Venture Business both have a $95 annual fee and welcome offers worth $1,000+ — with dramatically smaller minimum spending requirements.
The Capital One Venture Business also earns Capital One miles and comes with up to $100 in annual credits. You’ll receive a $50 Capital One Business Travel credit each year and an annual $50 credit for eligible advertising and software purchases.
The Capital Venture Business has a simple and lucrative rewards program because you earn at least 2X miles on every purchase and you can transfer those miles to travel partners.
- Earns flexible travel rewards you can transfer to airline and hotel loyalty programs such as Air Canada Aeroplan, Choice Privileges and Emirates Skywards
- Application fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck
- Up to $100 in annual credits
- Has an annual fee
- High spending requirement to earn the full welcome bonus
