(WO) — Fulkrum has been awarded an inspection services contract by Vår Energi covering projects across the operator’s Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) portfolio.
Under the framework agreement, Fulkrum is currently supporting three subsea developments in the Gjøa area: Ophelia, Gjøa Nord and Cerisa. The company is providing inspection and testing of equipment and systems both offshore and at onshore testing facilities.
The scope is intended to support quality assurance and project execution across Vår Energi’s portfolio. The companies did not disclose the contract’s value or duration.
“This award represents an important step in further establishing Fulkrum’s position within the Norwegian offshore market,” said James Dunsford, senior key account manager at Fulkrum.
Fulkrum said its subsea inspection teams will provide technical personnel to support the developments, including inspection activities during equipment procurement and operations.
Vår Energi is one of the largest independent oil and gas operators on the NCS, with interests across a broad portfolio of producing assets offshore Norway.
