(WO) — Global Energy Show Canada has expanded its speaker lineup ahead of next week’s conference in Calgary, adding a range of senior energy executives, policymakers and regulators from Canada and abroad.
Among the newly announced speakers are Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), H.E. Ekperikpo Ekpo, alongside Jim Wright, chairman of the Texas Railroad Commission, Stastia West, president and country chair of Shell Canada, and Albert Huddleston, founder and CEO of Aethon Energy.
The additions join a previously announced roster that includes Canadian Energy and Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, Musabbeh Al Kaabi, ADNOC’s chief executive officer for upstream operations, and executives from Cenovus, ConocoPhillips Canada, AltaGas and the Canada Energy Regulator.
According to organizers, this year’s event will focus on topics including energy security, investment, affordability, technology innovation and the evolving role of Canada’s energy sector in global markets.
“The calibre of speakers joining Global Energy Show Canada 2026 reflects the growing importance of this event as a platform for meaningful dialogue on the future of global energy,” said Nick Samain, Senior Vice President, North America, dmg events.
The conference is scheduled for June 9-11 at Calgary’s BMO Centre and is expected to bring together government officials, operators, investors and technology providers from across the global energy industry.
Global Energy Show Canada is one of North America’s largest energy conferences, featuring discussions on upstream oil and gas, LNG, power generation, emerging technologies and energy infrastructure.
