Morgan Stanley names Nvidia a top pick The firm says it’s naming Nvidia a top pick as the company is firing on all cylinders. “On our road show this week, NVDA’s CEO highlighted that recent developments in land/power/shell, financing, component constraints, and agentic all play to their strengths; we agree and are reinstating the stock as our Top Pick in semis.” Morgan Stanley initiates Vylor as overweight Morgan Stanley says the seed and genetics company is a “highly differentiated compounder.” “We initiate coverage of Vylor with an Overweight rating and an $85 price target, which assumes ~18x 2027 EBITDA…” Roth initiates Suja Life as buy Roth says it sees double digit growth for the healthy beverage company. “We initiate coverage of Suja Life with a Buy rating and 12-month PT of $20.” RBC upgrades Arxis to outperform from sector perform RBC says the A & D component company has M & A upside. “We are upgrading Arxis from Sector Perform to Outperform and increasing our PT to $60 from $50. As a leading supplier of components into the A & D and industrial markets, ARXS has materially outperformed initial estimates since its 2026 IPO.” Piper Sandler upgrades Alerus Financial to overweight from neutral Piper says the regional bank has EPS upside. “While shares have already substantially outperformed YTD (+31% vs. Nasdaq Bank Index), we believe this should continue as ALRS is likely to generate high-quality EPS upside during 2H26/1H27 and garner premium forward P/Es.” RBC initiates Allegro Microsystems as outperform RBC initiated Allegro Microsystems and says buy the dip in the integrated circuits company. “The stock has corrected ~38% from its recent peak, which we attribute to elevated expectations, especially in the fast-growing Data Center business.” JPMorgan initiates Graham Corp. as overweight JPMorgan says it sees margin upside. “GHM designs and manufactures mission-critical fluid, power, heat transfer, vacuum, and advanced mixing technologies serving Defense, Space, and Energy & Process end markets.” RBC initiates Onto Innovation as outperform RBC says it’s best positioned for share gains. “As a leading supplier of semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment, ONTO is well-positioned to benefit from a strong WFE spending cycle, rising process control intensity, and share gains.” Daiwa upgrading Hewlett Packard Enterprises to outperform from neutral Daiwa says it’s bullish on the company’s networking business. “HPE hosted a bullish Networking investor day on September 30 in California highlighting the progress and new growth rates for their Networking business. Networking is the combination of their prior business and the Juniper acquisition.” Bank of America reiterates Apple as buy Bank of America says its checks show Apple’s App Store revenue grew year over year. “App Store revs in F4Q26 (full quarter) increased to $8.8bn (+1.8% y/y, according to data on developer revs from SensorTower). Compared to our last iteration, this is a step up though we note historicals were restated.” Citi reiterates Netflix as buy Citi says it’s sticking with the stock. “Sentiment on Netflix remains subdued as engagement remains tepid. We remain more upbeat. We believe fears of churn are overblown, are encouraged by better engagement in video games, and see new tiers as a potential positive catalyst.” Wells Fargo initiates Design Therapeutics as overweight Wells say s Design Therapeutics is “best-in-class.” “We are positive into the 1Q27 FA update, and see blood FXN protein level increase translating to potentially best-in-disease functional improvement. We expect more pipeline appreciation to follow. Initiate OW, PT $26.” Rothschild & Co Redburn upgrades Abbot Labs to buy from neutral Rothschild says it sees “improved visibility.” “We have long held that Abbott Laboratories’ Medical Devices business can sustain robust growth supported by strong fundamentals and opportunities in cardiovascular and diabetes.” Bernstein initiates Forgent Power Solutions as outperform Bernstein says it sees several earnings drivers. “We are initiating coverage of Forgent Power Solutions (FPS), an electrical OEM, with an Outperform rating, $48 price target and 28% upside.” Needham initiates LB Pharmaceuticals as buy Needham says the company has blockbuster potential. “We initiate coverage on LBRX with a Buy rating and $68 PT.” Morgan Stanley initiates Enliven Therapeutics as overweight Morgan Stanley says the company is best-in-class. “We are initiating coverage of Enliven Therapeutics (ELVN) with an Overweight rating and a $70 price target. Enliven is a clinical-stage precision oncology company developing selective small-molecule kinase inhibitors.” Mizuho upgrades Arko Petroleum to overweight from neutral Mizuho says buy the dip. “APC shares have sold off hard driven by fears of gasoline demand destruction and market distaste for high-yield securities given the backup in rates.” JPMorgan initiates Sable Offshore as overweight JPMorgan says the E & P company has plenty of upside. “We initiate coverage of Sable Offshore (SOC) with an OW rating and a Dec-27 PT of $10/sh.” RBC downgrades Northrop Grumman to sector weight from overweight RBC says it’s getting cautious on the defense backdrop. “We are downgrading our recommendation on Northrop Grumman (NOC) from Outperform to Sector Perform, and lowering our price target from $640 to $525.” Wells Fargo initiates Interactive Brokers as overweight The firm says the stock is a top idea. “Much of the world remains decades behind the U.S. in self-directed brokerage adoption, but the gap is narrowing and IBKR remains the dominant global beneficiary with a compelling low-cost offering. Citi reiterates Strategy as buy Citi raised its price target on Strategy to $240 per share from $136. “We reset our estimates and TP to incorporate Citi’s revised 12-month BTC forecast (base case revised 39% higher to ~$113.4k.” Cantor Fitzgerald upgrades Better Home & Finance to overweight from neutral Cantor upgraded the digital mortgage company citing leadership clarity. “Accordingly, we upgrade BETR to OW (from N), while recognizing that formal acceptance of the consents and an orderly transition remain outstanding.” Freedom Capital upgrades Cerebras to buy from hold The firm says buy the weakness. “Over the past few days, CBRS’s investors have been rattled by news that the company’s key partner, OpenAI, is using NVIDIA’s GPUs for the frontier lab’s ‘Ultrafast’ version of its GPT-1 Sol model. CBRS’s shares have plummeted -17% likely in response to this.” Evercore ISI reiterates SpaceX as outperform Evercore says the Grok bot is an “underappreciated” story. “It launched almost a month before Meta’s Muse and nearly seven weeks before OpenAI’s Dots, and despite in our view being a compelling and intuitive alternative, its potential remains underappreciated within the broader SpaceX AI story.” Bernstein reiterates Nike as outperform Bernstein says it’s sticking with Nike following earnings on Thursday. “The biggest debate into Nike’s Q1 print was whether the new CFO would bring down FY27 numbers, clearing the decks before presenting a mid-term algo at the November investor day. Indeed, FY27 guide came in ~25% below Street, and Mgmt promised a 5-yr algo next month… not much will change until then.” Read more.
