(WO) – Innovex International has completed its acquisition of Drilling Innovative Solutions (DIS), adding a suite of downhole tools aimed at improving drilling and cementing efficiency.
DIS, founded in 2013, develops equipment designed to streamline well construction operations and reduce rig time. Its product portfolio includes float valves and cement retaining collars that serve as alternatives to conventional tools used in casing and cementing programs.
Innovex said the acquisition strengthens its offering of “small ticket” technologies that can deliver measurable operational impact by simplifying workflows and lowering overall well costs. The company plans to integrate DIS’s products across its global platform, expanding deployment beyond its current base of operators, including activity in the U.S. Gulf.
“Our complementary product portfolios along with our global reach offer an opportunity to expand these technologies into additional markets,” said CEO Adam Anderson.
The deal reflects continued consolidation among oilfield service providers, as companies look to enhance well construction efficiency through incremental technology improvements rather than large-scale capital investments.
With demand for cost control and operational efficiency remaining a priority for operators, downhole tool innovation continues to play a key role in optimizing drilling and completion performance.
