Lalithaa Jewellery share price opened at ₹265 per share on NSE and ₹265.30 on BSE. This means that the Lalithaa Jewellery IPO delivered 32% listing gain to the IPO allottees.
Lalithaa Jewellery IPO listing came below market expectations. The GMP of Lalithaa Jewellery IPO was ₹74 ahead of the debut, signalling an estimated listing price of ₹275.
Lalithaa Jewellery IPO details
The ₹1,700-crore mainboard IPO was available for subscription between August 17 and August 19, 2026, at an issue price of ₹201 per share. The company’s shares are set to be listed on both the BSE and NSE.
The IPO included a fresh issue of 5.97 crore equity shares worth ₹1,200 crore, along with an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.49 crore shares valued at ₹500 crore. Overall, the issue received a strong response and was subscribed 66.63 times.
Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) accounted for the strongest demand, with their reserved portion subscribed 154 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 78 times, while the retail portion saw 12.51 times subscription. The employee quota was subscribed 9.10 times, exchange data showed.
The company plans to deploy the fresh issue proceeds mainly towards expanding its store network, while some funds will be utilised for general corporate requirements.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart is a prominent player in South India’s jewellery market, selling gold, silver and diamond jewellery under the Lalithaa brand. It operates 61 stores across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Puducherry.
Financially, the company posted a 177% year-on-year surge in profit to ₹1,009.8 crore in FY26. Revenue during the year increased 48.1% to ₹25,023.9 crore.
