Muse has been a boon for Meta. It can soar much higher, Wells Fargo says
Meta Platforms looks set to continue soaring off the success of Muse, according to Wells Fargo . The bank raised its price target for Meta to $1,000 per share up from $796, implying nearly 35% upside from Monday’s close. Wells Fargo reiterated their overweight rating of the stock. “Expect enthusiastic discussion of AI agent opportunities,” analyst Ken Gawrelski wrote. “[We] see FY27 as trough EPS of new product cycle, akin to 2022 beginning of Reels though w/ Muse a potentially much larger, AI-driven product cycle.” After 2027, “expect Meta to be a consistent positive revisions story as market begins to layer in AI product revenue contributions in ’28 and beyond,” he added. Meta’s release of personal AI agent Muse has both the Street and retail consumers buzzing since its launch Sept. 8. Meta’s stock has increased nearly 20% since then against a 1.5% gain by the S & P 500. The Muse app has also rocketed to the top spot for free apps on Apple’s App Store . Long term, though, he sees Meta “as an accelerating growth story with emerging upside AI options in messaging, ad tools and new consumer applications.” Wells Fargo’s call is one of the most bullish on Wall Street. The bank’s $1,000 price target is tied for the highest analysts covering the stock, LSEG and FactSet data show. Most analysts covering the stock have a positive view. LSEG data shows that 56 of 63 rate it as a buy or strong buy.
