(WO) – The National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) has released its latest Offshore Energy Industry Innovation & Workforce Excellence Report, highlighting progress in environmental performance, workforce development and operational practices across the offshore sector.
The annual report features case studies and contributions from member companies and partners, outlining industry efforts in areas including digital innovation, offshore carbon capture and storage, ESG risk management and community engagement.
“What stands out in this year’s report is the depth of our industry’s commitment, to its workers, to the communities where it operates, and to the environment in which it works every day,” said Erik Milito, president of NOIA. “From AI-assisted decommissioning to biodiversity monitoring to workforce programs designed for the next generation, NOIA members are proving that innovation and responsibility go hand in hand. This is what offshore energy leadership looks like.”
The report also highlights key themes shaping the sector, including workforce excellence, security and governance, and the expanding role of offshore technologies in supporting lower-emissions operations.
In addition, the report recognizes industry achievements, including ESG and safety awards presented to companies such as Baker Hughes and SEACOR Marine.
