(WO) – Occidental Petroleum said President and CEO Vicki Hollub will retire effective June 1, 2026, with Chief Operating Officer Richard Jackson set to succeed her.
Jackson will also join the company’s board of directors upon assuming the role. Hollub, who has led Occidental since 2016, will remain on the board following her retirement.
The leadership transition comes after what the company described as a decade-long transformation, positioning Occidental to focus on operational execution and development of its asset base.
Jackson joined Occidental in 2003 and has held senior roles across the company’s global operations, including leadership positions in U.S. onshore, Permian Basin operations and enhanced oil recovery.
“I am grateful to be appointed President and CEO of Occidental,” Jackson said, adding that the company is well positioned to deliver value through its resource base and operational improvements.
