(WO) — Oceaneering International has been awarded a five-year inspection and asset integrity services contract by a Qatar-based oil company, strengthening the company’s long-standing presence in one of the Middle East’s largest oil and gas markets.
The contract, awarded to Oceaneering’s Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS) segment, includes two optional one-year extensions and is expected to generate meaningful revenue during the initial five-year term. The award followed a competitive tender process.
Under the agreement, Oceaneering will provide non-destructive testing (NDT), inspection and asset integrity services using its Qatar-based workforce. The company will also deploy its proprietary Inform™ digital inspection software, with the potential to utilize its Vision™ data visualization platform as part of the contract scope.
Oceaneering has operated in Qatar for more than two decades, supporting the country’s energy infrastructure with inspection, integrity management and digital solutions.
“This award underscores our ability to deliver reliable, digitally enabled integrity solutions that enhance production reliability and asset uptime while supporting regulatory compliance,” said Leo Granato, senior vice president of IMDS. “Our established team in Qatar enables safe and consistent execution of our innovative solutions, while deepening the development of local talent.”
The award further expands Oceaneering’s portfolio of long-term integrity management contracts as operators increasingly adopt digital technologies to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities.
