(WO) — Denholm Pipetech has expanded its Norwegian operations with a new facility and more than NOK 6 million in equipment and upgrades aimed at supporting oil and gas activity across the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and North Sea.
The flow remediation specialist has moved into a 950-sq-m facility in Sandnes featuring six offices, workshop facilities and yard space. The location will allow Pipetech to receive client equipment and perform pipe and process cleaning services locally.
Pipetech’s services include its Aqua Milling technology and high-pressure water jetting, which are used to remove wax, hard scale and other deposits that can restrict flow and affect asset performance.
The company has invested more than NOK 6 million to upgrade the facility and vehicle fleet and acquire additional equipment for Norway’s energy sector. The investment includes a NORSOK Z-015-compliant high-flow pump for the country’s offshore market, capable of delivering 182 liters per minute at pressures up to 1,020 bar.
The pump will support Pipetech’s Aqua Milling and DSR tooling as the company expands its pipe and process cleaning capabilities in Norway.
“We’ve got a rich history in Norway, and this is just the latest chapter,” said Leonard Hamill, operations director at Pipetech. “Between Henning, the new facility, and the investment we’ve made in new kit, we’re in a great position for 2027.”
Pipetech also appointed Henning Petersen as its Norway sales manager. Petersen has more than 10 years of experience in the country’s oil and gas supply chain and will support Pipetech and parent company Denholm Environmental as they pursue additional opportunities in the Norwegian market.
Originally founded in Stavanger 26 years ago, Pipetech said the expansion is part of a longer-term effort to strengthen its presence in Norway and support offshore operators across the NCS.
