(WO) — Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services has been awarded a major offshore services contract by Saipem to support a natural gas development project in Romania’s Black Sea, expanding the company’s presence in the offshore energy sector.
Under the contract, Brand will provide engineering, supply and installation of scaffolding systems, IRATA-certified rope access services, rigging support and thermal insulation for the offshore development. Project execution is expected to continue through the end of 2026.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The award supports an offshore natural gas project currently under development in Romanian waters of the Black Sea. Saipem is serving as engineering and construction contractor for the development.

Brand said the contract builds on more than 50 years of experience providing access, maintenance and industrial services for offshore energy projects. The company’s offshore portfolio includes scaffolding, rope access, insulation and other specialized services supporting the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of offshore facilities.
