(WO) — SLB has launched the SLB Digital Marketplace, a new platform designed to help energy companies discover, deploy and scale AI agents, digital applications and domain-specific software tools across their operations.
The marketplace expands SLB’s open digital platform strategy and provides a centralized channel for energy companies to access AI-driven technologies, workflow applications, data connectors and digital services from SLB, software developers, independent vendors and industry partners.
According to SLB, all applications listed on the marketplace are certified for security, interoperability and compatibility with the company’s digital ecosystem before deployment.
The launch comes as energy companies increasingly evaluate agentic AI technologies capable of automating complex technical workflows and supporting operational decision-making across planning, drilling, production and asset management activities.
“AI in energy is shifting from promise to performance,” said Olivier Le Peuch, chief executive officer of SLB. “The SLB Digital Marketplace is designed to accelerate that shift by creating an open ecosystem where innovation can scale, solutions can interoperate and customers can move faster from insight to action.”
The marketplace launches with approximately 200 digital products, including applications from SLB and more than 30 partner organizations. Available offerings include software applications, workflow extensions, data connectors, AI skills, AI agents and foundation models designed for use within SLB’s Delfi and Lumi digital environments.
SLB said the marketplace is intended to provide energy professionals with easier access to specialized AI and digital technologies while offering developers and software vendors a platform to distribute solutions across the company’s global customer base.
The launch represents the latest step in SLB’s broader effort to integrate artificial intelligence, automation and digital technologies into upstream and energy-sector workflows as operators continue pursuing greater efficiency and improved operational performance.
