(WO) — EnerMech has secured a contract from Subsea7 to provide pipeline and subsea pre-commissioning services for the Ginger development offshore Trinidad and Tobago.
The scope includes pipeline and subsea testing, flushing, hydrotesting, water filling, leak testing and commissioning support to prepare the development’s subsea production infrastructure for operation. The services will support both the installation and commissioning phases of the project.
EnerMech will execute the work using its established operations in Trinidad and Tobago, combining local personnel and equipment already positioned in the Caribbean with support from its global pipeline and subsea specialists.
“Our established presence in Trinidad and Tobago brings significant advantages to projects of this scale,” said Darrel Sookdeo, EnerMech’s VP Caribbean. “By combining local knowledge and experienced personnel with equipment already available within the region, we can support our customers with a responsive and efficient delivery model.”
The contract expands EnerMech’s existing relationship with Subsea7 and adds to its portfolio of offshore pipeline and subsea pre-commissioning projects across the Americas.
EnerMech said the project will also support local participation in offshore development activities, with its Caribbean team playing a central role in delivering the pre-commissioning scope.
Financial terms of the contract and a project completion timeline were not disclosed.
