(WO) — Subsea7 has been awarded a contract extension by Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center (TP-OTC) for the Sakarya Phase 3 gas development offshore Türkiye.
Subsea7 classifies the extension as “sizeable,” representing a contract value between $50 million and $150 million.
The additional scope covers towing and mooring line installation and connection activities associated with commissioning the development’s floating production unit (FPU), which is scheduled for 2028.
Project management and engineering will be carried out from Subsea7’s Istanbul office, with work beginning immediately.
The award expands Subsea7’s existing scope on Sakarya Phase 3 as Türkiye advances development of the Black Sea gas field.
