The U.S. Trade Representative said on Tuesday it had launched an investigation into Brazil’s “unfair” trading practices.
The investigation, which waspreviously announcedby President DonaldTrump, will seek to determine whether Brazil’s acts, policies, and practices related to digital trade and preferentialtariffs, among others, are “unreasonable or discriminatory and burden or restrict” U.S. commerce.
