U.S. markets ended mostly lower on Tuesday as investors digested comments from U.S. President Donald Trump. Investors remained on the sidelines ahead of key economic reports due later in the week, including initial jobless claims and new home sales on Thursday, followed by August durable goods orders and the University of Michigan’s consumer confidence index on Friday. Meanwhile, traders looked ahead to a potential meeting between Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, although it remains unclear whether the meeting will take place.
