(WO) – Unity, a well integrity and decommissioning specialist, has appointed Consolidated Suppliers as its in-country partner in the UAE. The two companies signed the agreement at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi. The company said the move responds to growing regional demand as operators invest in extending production from mature assets.
Consolidated Suppliers, which has supplied oilfield equipment and services in the UAE and wider Middle East for more than 40 years, will give Unity a local route to market. The arrangement also strengthens Unity’s In-Country Value (ICV) credentials, a key requirement for suppliers to UAE operators.
“As operators seek to extend asset life, maintain well integrity and reduce operational risk, demand is growing for the specialist expertise and integrated solutions that Unity delivers globally across mature basins,” said Gary Smart, CEO of Unity. “Our agreement with Consolidated Suppliers gives operators in the region direct access to Unity’s technologies and expertise, supported by a trusted local partner with a strong understanding of the market.”
“Unity’s expertise in well integrity, intervention and decommissioning comes at the right time, as operators focus on extending asset life and reducing risk across mature fields,” said Mohamed Deaibes, general manager of Consolidated Suppliers.
Unity is part of FrontRow Energy Technology Group and has more than 30 years of experience in well integrity, intervention and end-of-life well management.
