(WO) — AGR has entered into a strategic partnership with THF Engineered Solutions to develop AI-enabled workflows aimed at improving well planning, engineering assurance and well delivery.

The collaboration combines AGR’s well engineering and project delivery expertise with THF’s WellPhase platform, which uses its Engineering Logic and Learning Intelligence System (ELLIS) to analyze historical well data and generate engineering insights for planning and operational decision-making.
The partnership follows a successful pilot project in which AGR’s well specialists used the platform to conduct offset well reviews. According to the companies, the AI-enabled workflow rapidly analyzed large volumes of historical well information, helping engineers identify operational risks, key events and planning considerations while reducing the time required for manual data review.
“By combining our operational expertise with THF’s AI-enabled workflow technology, we see an opportunity to unlock greater value from historical well data for clients, freeing up engineering time from manual processes to strengthen planning quality and improve consistency in well delivery across projects,” said Lynden Duthie, managing director of AGR’s Well Management business.
THF said the technology is designed to allow engineers to spend less time gathering and organizing data and more time evaluating operational decisions.
While the initial work has focused on offset well reviews, the companies said they plan to explore broader applications for the technology across well engineering, assurance and operational workflows, including standards compliance, well operations planning and regulatory assurance.
