(WO) — EnerMech has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide topside process and shutdown services across the offshore asset portfolio of a North Sea operator, expanding a partnership that has spanned more than a decade.
The contract marks EnerMech’s second major topside process services award in the North Sea in recent months and strengthens the company’s position in integrated offshore maintenance and shutdown support.
Under the agreement, EnerMech will provide topside process services, shutdown readiness and engineering support using an integrated delivery model that combines embedded engineering expertise, multi-skilled personnel and centralized technical resources.
The scope includes nitrogen purging, nitrogen and helium leak testing, bolt torquing and tensioning, cryogenic pipe freezing, on-site machining, system pressurization and flange management.
Operations will be managed from the company’s Aberdeen base, with support from its equipment fleet and digital assurance systems, including EnerMech’s SIMPro engineering software, to help improve shutdown planning, reduce downtime and enhance operational reliability.

EnerMech said the expanded scope builds on more than 12 years of supporting the operator’s offshore assets and will help improve consistency and efficiency across future shutdown and maintenance campaigns.
