(WO) — STRYDE has secured an agreement to supply 12,000 seismic nodes and its Nimble Seismic Acquisition System to Indonesian inspection and survey services company PT SUCOFINDO for an upcoming seismic survey.
The deployment includes STRYDE’s Range+ seismic nodes, which are designed to support high-density land seismic acquisition while reducing equipment weight, field personnel and logistics requirements.
The technology is particularly suited to Indonesia’s challenging onshore environments, where seismic crews can encounter dense jungle, heavy vegetation and limited site access.
“We are excited to introduce STRYDE technology into our seismic operations for an upcoming seismic survey,” said Mula Vidya Kusuma, senior manager at SUCOFINDO. “Its affordability, combined with the small size and low weight of the nodes, will help us reduce crew requirements and field logistics without compromising data quality.”
The 12,000 nodes will be supported by STRYDE’s Nimble Seismic Acquisition System, which manages data harvesting, charging and preparation of nodes for redeployment during seismic acquisition. STRYDE will also provide on-site startup and training support to SUCOFINDO’s team.
The agreement expands STRYDE’s presence in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, where the company’s technology has been deployed for several years. SUCOFINDO provides geological, geophysical and seismic services to Indonesia’s oil and gas sector.
STRYDE said its technology has been used on more than 450 seismic surveys across 65 countries, with more than 1.3 million nodes delivered between 2020 and 2026.
