(WO) — CoreMarine has completed the acquisition of Brazilian offshore services company BravOcean, expanding its subsea construction and project delivery capabilities in Brazil’s deepwater market.
BravOcean provides subsea installation support, project management services and specialist personnel for complex deepwater subsea, umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) projects in Brazil.
CoreMarine said the acquisition will combine BravOcean’s local presence and project experience with its broader offshore capabilities as the company targets growing demand for subsea construction, technical services and project delivery in the country.

It also marks our next chapter in Brazil,” said Ben Fitzgerald, CEO of CoreMarine. “Combining our complementary expertise with BravOcean enables us to deliver greater value and local competence to the booming Brazilian subsea market.”
Vinicius Vieira, commercial director of BravOcean, said joining CoreMarine will allow the company to combine its existing Brazilian operations with additional international expertise and capabilities.
Brazil is a key market in CoreMarine’s long-term growth strategy, with the acquisition establishing a larger local presence to support offshore and subsea projects across the region.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
